Blue sky on Fuji 400 Super G

Olympus OM-4T, Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.2, Fuji 400 Super G.

I really like this fine grain 400 film from Fuji. I think because I like the color rendering. Its “as is” color makes it easy to use. I don’t have to do much to make it look good. I’ll definitely snatch up more of this film when I can.

Driving home from Pasadena on the 210 with dramatic skies and a wide open road. A rarity and a treat.

Earth Satellite

Canon 5D MkII, Zuiko Auto-T 300mm 1:4.5, Olympus Teleconverter 2X-A, Fotodiox OM to EOS lens converter.

I know we’ve all seen this before. But somehow I felt compelled to post this picture. I found myself just mesmerized for 15 minutes, looking at every nook and cranny of the surface, wondering, witnessing this celestial body that is Earth’s natural satellite. I shot this with the help of a Zuiko 300mm f/4.5 with an Olympus 2x teleconverter and a tripod. The effective focal length gives me a reach of 600mm. Photo was cropped about 40% in to show more of the details of the surface.
