Notice you can still see details in the shadows as well as in the highlights. If this scene were taken with most digital cameras, you&#8217;d either get no details in the highlights or no details in the shadows. By using film, I was able to capture both. This is how I &#8220;saw&#8221; the scene and with film, it allowed me to show the details in the extreme range from dark to light.
