On Sept. 29, right after Charlize and William’s wedding (see prior post), I was off to photograph the Relay for Life of Lake Forest. This wonderful event is designed to help raise money for the American Cancer Society in hopes to save lives and empower those who have or know someone who have the disease. It is a fun filled day full of activities which celebrates survivors of cancer and remember those lost to cancer. In the beginning my brother Francis was there to take photos of white doves released to start the day’s celebration. And in the evening I covered the luminary memorial which was lit to remember and honor those who have passed and those who have survived.
